EnergyVue is part of the Curtis & Associates group of companies:
In 2005 the Curtis & Associates started Gold Teak, in Indonesia. Gold Teak is an agro-forestry project in the Java island of Indonesia, where we have planted tens of thousands of teak trees, entirely managed by the local communities, which has supported the communities and preserved native species and biodiversity. It also does something else. It sequesters carbon.
After 15 years of constant growth, the amount of CO2 sequestered in our Gold Teak project is enough to offset our company’s yearly CO2 emissions. So, we are “technically” Carbon Negative as of 2021.
Furthermore, Curtis & Associates has registered its own SBT initiative and will strive to drastically decrease its emissions following a decarbonization path in the next years, regardless of Gold Teak.
