different energy plants and different vendors. Edge will aggregate data in universal formats
and make it available for viewing and for analytics.
EnergyVue Edge is the solution for renewable energy
plants in terms of:
Acquisition
Acquisition at the remote site for renewable assets and any related auxiliary sensors. Multiple existing data connection methods such as OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT with custom connecters possible also.
Aggregation
Aggregation in universal data formats and secure data collection and storage using the EnergyVue Vault platform.
Data Analytics
Supports the creation and deployment of edge data analytics. We support custom requests and the generation of real-time alerts to complement the existing system alerts.
Data acquisition poses multiple challenges.
The EnergyVue Edge system is deployed onto existing hardware or separate hardware which can be provided by EnergyVue. This system will then collect and aggregate all of the transmitted data in real-time and deliver back to the in town central server, whether this be in the cloud on via an internal network to local resources.
The sources of data can be different and independent, however, the EnergyVue solution is designed to handle different streams of data no matter the source and connection method. We also have smart data functions such as edge standardisation and unit conversion to ensure that your data is delivered and ready for immediate use.
Integration is often an issue for systems, at EnergyVue we even support integrations at the Edge to ensure that secure data sharing is possible throughout the entire data workflow.
